Dear parishioners, dear guests,
On behalf of the municipal council, we are delighted to welcome you back to our “Festival of Women”. It is still the case that women often have to work harder in their careers to achieve positions similar to those of their male colleagues.
The pandemic in particular has shown that working mothers are more often exposed to a double burden. When kindergartens and schools close, children fall ill, or homeschooling is required, it is usually mothers who have to try to be there for their children while at the same time not neglecting their jobs and household duties.
With the “Festival of Women,” we want to raise awareness of the achievements that women make every day, celebrate them, and encourage all women to become aware of their strengths and use them, both in their private and professional lives.
History has shown that women can achieve great things when theywork together. We therefore offer a platform where women can exchange ideas and support each other.
Last but not least, we would also like to introduce you to some committed women from the region.
We wish you an inspiring and memorable weekend and hope that you will find and take advantage of many interesting offerings from the diverse program of art, literature, music, theater, exciting workshops, and discussion panels.
